Sally is a member of the IFEAL Qualifications Faculty and fulfils the roles of tutor, mentor and assessor.
She is a BHS registered Coach, is accredited with Mary Wanless as a Level 2 Ride With Your Mind Biomechanics Coach and also holds a BTEC Professional Diploma in Animal Healing.
Sally has a background in training horses for competition, but for the last 17 years has turned her attention away from results orientated training, and now focuses on coaching people and their horses towards better relationships, on both physical and emotional interfaces. She has a very successful and popular coaching business across West Sussex and Surrey.
She is fascinated by the concept of relationship and how it affects our daily lives, both with horses and human counterparts. Prior to her career as a coach, Sally served with Surrey Police as a Constable, working in a variety of roles, which has given her valuable life experience.
She is also a qualified animal healer, running a small but thriving practice which supports and advises animal owners.
Sally has a deep interest in personal growth and human development, and after friend and mentor Sue Gardner recommended that she should read Linda Kohanov’s book, ‘The Tao of Equus’, Sally realised that she could combine her passions by furthering her career with training in Equine Facilitated Human Development.
Sally has two ponies of her own, and having graduated through years 1 and 2 in The IFEAL Method, has recently started her own EFHD practice in West Sussex.
